The Iluka/Woombah Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit organisation for people with business interests in Iluka, Woombah and surrounds.

Our mission is to provide a united voice for Iluka and Woombah businesses and ensure sustainability for our beautiful coastal area.

We seek to provide networking opportunities, respresentation and support for businesses in Iluka, Woombah and surrounds, whilst being mindful of the wider needs of the community and environment.

We aim to represent the business community of Iluka and Woombah, be involved in decisions which shape the future of Iluka and Woombah, work with council, other groups, associations and the community, in the interests of Iluka and Woombah.

Our objectives are to provide and promote business networking opportunities, facilitate the delivery of business information, education, training and support for members.  To encourage development of a 'shop locally' programme.

The Iluka Chamber of Commerce recent achievements

• Proactive in working with Council to source significant project funding support for Iluka through the Townlife Development Programme (e.g. Iluka Street-scaping project).
• Co-ordinated Iluka business lobby for sewerage system and represents local business on the associated Consultative Group.
• Worked closely with Council and Clarence River Tourism Association to raise the tourism profile of Iluka and provide enhanced visitor information
• Initiated the Iluka Explorer free tour bus for locals and visitors.
• Introduced innovative 'Shop Local' promotion to bolster local business.
• Developeda marketing plan for Iluka that will act as a blueprint for future initiatives.
• Established an informative and promotional website for Iluka and local businesses.
• Developed and established the production of an 'Iluka Naturally' calendar to promote Iluka as a desirable tourist destination and place to create fond memories.
